Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why do ADO eBikes only come in one size?

Our eBikes are designed to be universal, foldable commuter bikes, not performance or specialty models. This makes them practical, versatile, and easy to use for most riders.

Here’s why we offer one size for all:

  • Compact Foldable Design – The frame geometry needs to stay consistent to ensure smooth folding and portability.

  • Adjustable Fit – With extendable seat posts and handlebars, our bikes comfortably suit riders from about 150cm to 200cm (5’0”–6’5”).

  • Affordable & Practical – A single frame size keeps production efficient, allowing us to offer high-quality eBikes at better prices.

  • Built for Everyday Riders – Perfect for city commuting, leisure, and casual use, where a “one-size-fits-most” approach works best.

👉 In short: ADO eBikes are designed to be versatile, affordable, and adaptable—fitting most people with simple adjustments, without the need for multiple frame sizes.

2. How long does the battery last on an ADO eBike?

On average, you can expect up to 80–100 km per charge (depending on model, terrain, and assist level).

3. How long does it take to charge the battery?

A full charge typically takes 4–6 hours.

4. Can I remove the battery for charging?

Yes—ADO eBikes have removable batteries that can be charged on or off the bike.

5. What is the maximum speed of ADO eBikes?

In Ireland (and across the EU), eBikes are legally limited to a maximum assisted speed of 25 km/h (15.5 mph). Once you reach that speed, the motor assistance automatically cuts off, but you can still pedal faster under your own power.

6. Where can I buy spare parts?

Spare parts and accessories are available directly through ADO’s website or email: support@adobike.com
